Working out your shoe size

At Big Shoe-Zam we provide fitting hints and tips for every shoe we stock. Please make sure you read these as they will help you to select the correct size for you.

If you are unsure of your shoe size, we suggest you measure your feet and compare your measurements to the size indications provided below. This will provide you with your estimated shoe size.

To determine your size:
  1. Place your foot on a piece of paper and trace around it.
  2. Measure the length from toe to heel and width across the ball (widest part) of the foot.
  3. Look for the shoe size in the table below that has a length that is closest to, but longer than your measured foot length. This is the best estimate of your shoe size.

If your foot is wider than the standard width for the recommended shoe size, we suggest you look for shoes marked 'good for wide feet'. If your foot is significantly wider than that shown, you may need a special wide fitting shoe.

Ensure you measure both your feet. If you find one foot's size suggestion is larger than the other, use the larger size.
